Free Telegram to MT5 Signal Copier (No VPS Required)

Most Telegram signal copiers charge monthly. This one is free, copies unlimited channels to MT4 or MT5, and the browser version needs no VPS and no install.

Free Telegram to MT5 Signal Copier (No VPS Required)

Short answer: yes, a free Telegram to MT5 signal copier exists, and the free part is not a trial. CopyConnectFX copies unlimited Telegram channels into MT4 or MT5 with no licence key and no monthly fee, and its browser-based version needs no VPS and nothing installed — our server watches the channels, your terminal places the trades.

If you have shopped for a Telegram copier before, you already know the pattern. Paid subscriptions are the norm in this niche: a monthly fee per account, sometimes a separate charge for the trading API underneath, and a free tier that stops at one channel or expires in a fortnight. This article explains how to set up a free one instead, why the free one can be free without being worse, and — just as importantly — the three limits that apply no matter whose copier you use.

How to copy Telegram signals to MT5 for free

The whole setup takes about ten minutes and needs no coding.

  1. Create a free CopyConnectFX account. No card, no trial clock.
  2. Connect Telegram in your browser. Enter your phone number and the code Telegram sends you. Our server can then read the channels you are already a member of.
  3. Pick the channels to copy. Every new channel starts in test mode, which records what it would have traded and places nothing.
  4. Download the Executor EA from your dashboard and drag it onto any chart in MetaTrader 5. Turn AutoTrading on, and allow the dashboard URL under Tools, Options, Expert Advisors, Allow WebRequest.
  5. Watch the test log for a day. Compare what it says it would have traded against what the channel actually posted.
  6. Switch the channel live when the log looks right — on a demo account first.

Why most Telegram copiers charge, and why this one does not

This is not a discount or a loss-leader. It is a different architecture with a different cost structure.

A cloud copier holds a live connection to your broker account on its own infrastructure. That connection has to stay open, it is usually rented from a third-party trading API that bills per account, and it exists separately for every customer. Those costs recur monthly, so the subscription does too.

A local executor has no such cost. The order is placed by an Expert Advisor running inside your own MetaTrader terminal, on your machine, over your broker connection. Our server only decides what the order should be; it never touches your broker. There is no per-user bill to recover, so there is nothing to charge you for.

That last row is the honest trade-off, and it is the one thing a cloud copier genuinely buys you. Everything else in that table favours the local one.

Do you actually need a VPS?

For reading the signals, no. This is the part people get wrong. With the browser-based version, the channel watching happens on our server — so a signal posted at 3am is received and parsed whether or not your computer is on.

For placing the trade, something has to be running MetaTrader. The EA is what sends the order, and an EA cannot run on a machine that is asleep. So:

  • If you are at your desk during your session, your own PC is fine.
  • If you want trades taken overnight or while you are at work, the terminal needs a VPS or a machine that stays awake.

No tool can remove that second requirement without taking custody of your broker account, which is exactly what a cloud copier does and exactly what makes it cost money. Anyone promising "no VPS" for the whole chain is either holding your broker credentials or not placing the trade.

Two ways to run it — and why we built both

Browser-based (nothing to install)

You connect Telegram on the website. Our server reads your channels and queues the orders. There is no download, no Windows security warning, and no second program to keep running.

The trade-off, stated plainly: your Telegram login is stored on our servers. It is encrypted and the key is not kept in the database, but we will not pretend the risk is zero. Reading a private channel requires logging in as you — Telegram offers no other mechanism — so any web-based copier faces the same constraint, whether or not it says so.

Desktop app (nothing leaves your machine)

A small Windows app logs into Telegram on your own PC and passes orders to the EA locally. Nothing about your Telegram ever reaches us. It is the private option, and it is the one to pick if the paragraph above bothers you.

Neither is "better". One trades privacy for convenience and the other trades convenience for privacy, and which fits depends entirely on how you feel about that.

What "free" actually means here

Free is a word that has been abused in this category, so here is the specific version:

Thing people usually pay forHere
Number of Telegram channelsUnlimited
Trial periodNone — there is no clock
Licence key or activationNone
Per-account chargeNone
Partial take-profits, breakeven, trailingIncluded
Test mode before going liveIncluded, and it is the default
Card required to startNo

There is a paid Premium plan on the wider platform, but it covers unrelated things — extra copy-trading machines, more verified-results accounts, shareable portfolio links. The Telegram copier is not one of them.

The part no copier can fix for you

A signal copier reads text written by a human for other humans. That works when the message contains the three things a trade needs, and fails when it does not.

A message like BUY XAUUSD 2418, SL 2410, TP1 2425, TP2 2432 is unambiguous. A message like gold looking bullish, get in now is not a trade instruction — no parser can invent a stop loss that was never posted.

Two specific things worth knowing before you trust any copier with real money:

  • Result posts are not entries. A channel posting "Take Profit 1 from our short signal" contains a direction, a symbol and a price, which a naive parser reads as a fresh sell. On a live account that can reverse the position you already have. A copier worth using recognises a results post and ignores it.
  • Edits are not retrades. If a channel edits a signal after you have already entered, silently moving your stop to match is not obviously right. Ours records the edit and leaves the trade alone.

This is why test mode is the default here and why we keep saying to run a demo account for the first day. Not caution for its own sake — a channel's quirks only show up in its own log.

Per-channel rules, because channels are not alike

A scalping channel posting ten trades a day and a swing channel posting three a week should not share settings. Each channel gets its own:

  • Lot sizing — fixed lots, or a percentage of your balance as risk
  • Symbol filter, trading window and a daily trade cap
  • Staged take-profits — close 50% at TP1, 25% at TP2, the rest at TP3
  • Breakeven, with an offset if you want the stop clear of the spread
  • Trailing, which can start only after a chosen target is hit
  • Entry protection — skip a signal if price has already run too far from the entry it named

All of it is optional. Leave it off and the copier simply trades the signal's own stop and target, which is what most people want on day one.

Is it right for you?

Good fit: you follow one or more Telegram channels, you already trade MT4 or MT5, and you are losing trades to being asleep, in a meeting, or slow on the phone.

Poor fit: you want a hands-off system with no machine running anywhere, or your channels post commentary rather than structured signals. In the first case you want a cloud copier and should expect to pay for it. In the second, no copier will help, free or otherwise.

Where to go next

Trading foreign exchange and CFDs carries a high risk of losing money. A copier executes someone else's decisions faster and more consistently than you can by hand; it does not make a losing channel profitable. Test any channel on a demo account before committing real funds.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a genuinely free Telegram to MT5 signal copier?+

Yes. CopyConnectFX copies Telegram signals to MT4 and MT5 free, with unlimited channels, no licence key and no trial clock. It is free because the heavy work happens on your own terminal rather than on a server we have to pay for per user — the economics of a local executor are different from a cloud copier that must hold a broker connection open for every customer.

Do I need a VPS to copy Telegram signals?+

Not to read the signals. With the browser-based version our server watches your channels, so that part keeps working with your computer switched off. You do still need MetaTrader running somewhere to place the order, and if you want trades taken while you sleep, that terminal needs to be on a VPS or a machine that stays awake.

Why do most Telegram signal copiers charge a monthly fee?+

Most are cloud copiers: they hold a live connection to your broker account on their own infrastructure, which costs them money every month per account and is usually resold through a third-party trading API. A local executor has no such cost — the order is placed by an Expert Advisor inside your own terminal, so there is no per-user server bill to recover.

Does a free signal copier mean my trades are slower?+

No. Speed is decided by where the order is placed, not by what you paid. A local executor places the trade from inside your own terminal, which is the shortest path to your broker. A cloud copier adds a hop through someone else's server first.

What are the real limitations?+

Three honest ones. Your MetaTrader terminal has to be running for a trade to be placed. The browser version stores your Telegram login on our servers encrypted, which is less private than the desktop app that keeps it on your own PC. And no parser understands every channel — a signal has to carry a direction, a symbol, and a stop or a target before any tool can trade it.

Can it copy more than one Telegram channel?+

Yes, unlimited channels, each with its own settings. Different channels can run completely different rules — one on fixed lots with partial take-profits, another on risk-based sizing with no management at all — because a strategy that suits a scalping channel rarely suits a swing channel.

Will it work with private channels I am a member of?+

Yes, as long as your own Telegram account can read them. The copier reads channels as you, which is the only way Telegram permits reading a private channel. It does not need to be an admin and it never posts anything.
