Is the MT4/MT5 Dashboard Utility free?+
Yes — a free download with a free account, no licence key and no trial period. It runs inside your own MetaTrader terminal and none of its features are held back for Premium.
Does the Dashboard Utility place trades?+
No. It has no order functions at all — it cannot open, modify or close a position. It reads the trade history that is already in your terminal and draws it on the chart, which is why it is safe to run on a funded or prop firm account.
Does my trading data get uploaded anywhere?+
No. The utility reads your local terminal history and renders it on your own chart. Nothing is sent to a server, so it keeps working with the terminal offline and there is no account data of yours sitting on anyone else's machine.
Does it work on both MT4 and MT5?+
Yes, as separate builds — one .ex4 for MetaTrader 4 and one .ex5 for MetaTrader 5. The statistics, the monthly calendar and the hourly heatmap are the same on both.
What is the hourly heatmap actually for?+
It shows which hours of the day your account historically makes and loses money. Most traders find one or two hours doing real damage — usually thin liquidity or news windows — and simply not trading them is the cheapest edge available.
How is this different from the Statement Analyzer?+
The Dashboard Utility runs live on a chart in the terminal you trade today. The Statement Analyzer is a browser tool for a finished MT4 or MT5 report file, including accounts you no longer trade. Same class of numbers, different moment.
