CopyConnectFX ("we", "us") provides a local MetaTrader trade-copying tool and an optional web monitoring dashboard at https://www.copyconnectfx.com. This policy explains what data we handle and how.
The most important thing first
Your broker passwords and trading credentials never reach our servers. Trade copying runs entirely inside your own Windows PC or VPS. The website is monitoring-only and cannot place, modify or close trades.
Data we collect
- Account data: your email address and a hashed password (or your Google account email if you sign in with Google — we receive only your email and name, never your Google password).
- Monitoring data sent by the EAs (if you pair a terminal): trading account number, broker and server name, balance, equity, margin, open-trade counts, copy events (symbol, lots, tickets, delays, errors) and basic machine health (uptime, a machine identifier). This is what powers your dashboard.
- Verification codes: if you register by email, we send a one-time code from support@copyconnectfx.com.
Data we do NOT collect
- Broker or MetaTrader passwords (never transmitted anywhere).
- Payment card details (the service is currently free).
- Data from your terminals unless you explicitly pair them.
How we use data
Solely to operate the service: authenticating you, displaying your dashboard, sending alerts you enable, and providing support. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
Storage & third parties
- Data is stored on our hosting provider (Railway) in a managed PostgreSQL database, transmitted over HTTPS.
- Google Sign-In is processed by Google under their own privacy policy.
- Optional EA notifications (Telegram, email, MetaQuotes push) are sent directly from your terminal using your own bot token / email settings — they never pass through us.
Cookies & local storage
We use browser local storage for your login session token. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Retention & deletion
Monitoring data is kept while your account is active. Email support@copyconnectfx.com to delete your account and its data — we remove it within 30 days.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time via support@copyconnectfx.com.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
