Privacy Policy

CopyConnectFX ("we", "us") provides a local MetaTrader trade-copying tool and an optional web monitoring dashboard at https://www.copyconnectfx.com. This policy explains what data we handle and how.
The most important thing first
Your broker passwords and trading credentials never reach our servers. Trade copying runs entirely inside your own Windows PC or VPS. The website is monitoring-only and cannot place, modify or close trades.
Data we collect
- Account data: your email address and a hashed password (or your Google account email if you sign in with Google — we receive only your email and name, never your Google password).
- Monitoring data sent by the EAs (if you pair a terminal): trading account number, broker and server name, balance, equity, margin, open-trade counts, copy events (symbol, lots, tickets, delays, errors) and basic machine health (uptime, a machine identifier). This is what powers your dashboard.
- Verification codes: if you register by email, we send a one-time code from support@copyconnectfx.com.
Data we do NOT collect
- Broker or MetaTrader passwords (never transmitted anywhere).
- Payment card numbers — Stripe processes Premium payments and we never receive or store the card number.
- Data from your terminals unless you explicitly pair them.
How we use data
Solely to operate the service: authenticating you, displaying your dashboard, sending alerts you enable, and providing support. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
Storage & third parties
- Data is stored on our hosting provider (Railway) in a managed PostgreSQL database, transmitted over HTTPS.
- Google Sign-In is processed by Google under their own privacy policy.
- Payments for any paid plan are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure form and go directly to Stripe; we receive only a payment reference, the last four digits, the card brand, your billing country and the receipt email. Stripe processes this data under its own privacy policy, including for fraud prevention.
- Optional EA notifications (Telegram, email, MetaQuotes push) are sent directly from your terminal using your own bot token / email settings — they never pass through us.
Cookies & local storage
We use browser local storage for your login session token. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Retention & deletion
Monitoring data is kept while your account is active. Email support@copyconnectfx.com to delete your account and its data — we remove it within 30 days.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time via support@copyconnectfx.com. We answer every request, and we never charge for one.
California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident you have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request a copy of it, to correct it, and to have it deleted. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights — exercising them never changes your plan, your price or the features you can use.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have never done so. There is therefore no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" process to run — the answer is already no. To exercise any of the rights above, email us from the address on your account.
Children
The Service is for adults: you must be at least 18 to hold an account, and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Where your data is held
CopyConnectFX LLC is a United States company, and the servers that run the dashboard and store account data are operated in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your data is transferred there. Note the distinction that matters most here: the trade copier itself works entirely on your own machine, so your trading and your MetaTrader credentials never reach any server of ours in the first place.

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
